I remember first hearing Sex way back last year when the band were formally known as B I G S L E E P I instantly became hooked but sadly they seemed to disappear from my radar soon after. Then back in August I got sent an EP by a new band who went by the name The 1975. Their vocals were very reminiscent of a band I once knew but couldn't quite put my finger on it. It is only now the penny has dropped. They were the same band. And it's great to have them back under their reincarnation The 1975. Having recently signed to the brilliant Vagrant Records the bands Sex EP will be released November 20th and can be pre-ordered from iTunes here. Expect much more of their vibrant teenage angst lyrics over grungy guitars. Uplifting and aspirational. A beautiful blend of British Indie and American power pop. 

Expect a debut album due in Spring 2013.
