The song is about the dissolution of our social group--catalyzed by the behaviour of a couple of ex-girlfriends. It's about that moment when you realise, Oh, that was a bit of a waste of time--but fuck it, I'm actually just as happy as I was before so no harm done. In short the song is about "Stop talking shit and grow up."
