Phoria | Red

There's something to be said when a song has the ability to momentarily pause time. And that's just the case with Brighton five-piece Phoria on their debut single 'Red'. Taken from the forthcoming 'Bloodworks' EP due April 29th (Akira Records) it's instantaneously clear their music has an overwhelming charm. Swaying in a hypnotic blend of soothing vocals and wide open space 'Red' remains elegantly seductive and raw throughout. Gripping in every sense as its piano ballad unfolds and electronic percussion take a hold we couldn't have asked for a better introduction to Phoria.

With an already phenomenal response to their music and their EP due out in just under 3 weeks it would seem there's only more greatness to come from this promising group of musicians. In the meantime you can stream 'Red' above and bask in all of its down-tempo gloriousness.
