Released on July 15th via Polydor/Outsiders Laura Welsh returns with her gratifying new single Cold Front. Oozing in a sultry charm her latest effort becomes a cornerstone to the much acclaimed female fronted electronic movement taking the country by storm as of late (re: Jessie Ware, Aluna George, Solange etc). With an expansive sound fuelled by Welsh's breezy vocals that overlap and consume your soul Cold Front becomes a compelling listen from start to finish with her killer hooks becoming lodged deep in your subconscious.

Having already worked with the likes of Solange Knowles collaborator Dev Hynes on her first release and Robin Hannibal from Rhye this time round the debut album looks set to be just as fruitful enlisting Emile Haynie (Lana Del Ray and Bruno Mars) on production duties. Something I'm most looking forward to hearing!
