For anyone who's been following the blog attentively over the past year will know I have a massive soft spot for Scandinavian Pop and no one seems to be doing it better than Finnish Indie Rockers Satellite Stories. To wake up to news of not only a new single but a new album too makes me incredibly happy at 8am. And Campfire might be their strongest effort to date. With splashes of a wistful longing backed with fluctuating guitars and vigirous percussion the new single excels in all the right places. Pensive with an impetuous edge it follows on beautifully from their debut record Phrases To Break The Ice that came out last year. It's great to have them back! Campfire will be released October 18th taken from the new album 'Pine Trails' which is out November 1st.
