Liu Bei | Infatuation

Breaking the standardised rule for not checking emails before bed has never paid a greater reward. Delivering what can only be described as a grandeur spectacle of pure, undying love, Liu Bei (pronounced: Lou Bay) sure know how to make an entrance as they premiere their debut single, Infatuation. Much like its namesake its wholly resplendent echoing penetrates deep leaving you weak and washed of emotion. Making full use of the airspace around to capture their sound's intrinsic detail with magnificent results the London based group quickly ascend to vertigo-inducing heights as Richard Walters' fraught vocals do battle with the track's blossoming yet haunting crescendo. "How dedication and unconditional love can so quickly turn into something dark and sharp toothed, an aggressive obsession". Undeniably in the moment and for the moment, Infatuation delivers on all it promises proving to be one of the most endearing debut's I've heard in recent times. Be sure to indulge yourself above. Infatuation / Atlas World will be released 7th July 2014 through paradYse/Transgressive Records as a Ltd 7” vinyl and digital release. You can Pre-Order it now from the ParadYse store here: http://paradyserecords.bigcartel.com
