Palace | Bitter

Having already racked up 75,000 plays on their debut track, 50,000 of which came in the first 2 weeks and all before any headline shows, I think it's safe to say Palace know a thing or two about conjuring up a storm. Hot off the back from supporting Jamie T on his recent return to music, the London new-comers offer up a ravishing display of gritty guitars served with an unconditional drive that's forever forward thinking, evidently present in their latest effort 'Bitter'. Whilst previous single 'Veins' was rooted deep with Blues and Americana influences, the band's latest single takes a slightly different approach as Leo Wyndham's brooding vocals fizzle over its skippy percussion and raw jangly basslines. Just as the fuse becomes lit an explosion of noise unfolds as the track crescendos and blossoms in the most gorgeous of ways, guitars crashing down around as you're filled with all their warmth. Indulge yourself above. 'Bitter' is taken from the band's forthcoming EP entitled 'The Lost In The Night' set for release through Beatnik Creative on 20th October. In case you missed it previously, you can watch their video to Veins below.

Palace will play London's St. Pancras Old Church on 15th October, the same day Bitter is set for release.
