Everything Everything | Distant Past
Has it really been over 2 years since Everything Everything released their second studio record 'Arc'. With time absolutely flying by it's a nice treat to learn then that the Manchester based quartet are set to take us back to the Distant Past with their new Stuart Price produced single. Terrible links aside, it's a very welcomed return for the band as they step things up a gear since their last outing with big hitting basslines and pulsating synths. "Distant Past is about primal human nature, and no matter how far we progress in our civilisations, we can never escape it." explains singer Jonathan Higgs. Coupled with their unique unconventional song structures and Higgs' rapid fire falsetto it serves as the perfect bridge between their wonderful back catalogue and what future new directions lay ahead. Everything Everything's new album 'Get To Heaven' will be released 15th June through RCA Records.
To coincide with this news the band have announced two live shows in the build up to the release of 'Get To Heaven', Tickets go on sale tonight with full details below:
