Spector - Bad Boyfriend
“.....you think you’re lonely now, wait till we’re alone”. Spector really weren't lying when they said that they've penned their best songs yet. Following on from their stunning 80s comeback All The Sad Young Men, the band return with equal splendour debuting new single Bad Boyfriend. With Fred Macpherson's satirical approach to lyricism and its pulsating kick drum hits comes another fine showcase of the quartet's euphoric perfection. A self reflection I'm sure we can all relate to when we become pre-occupied by the less important things instead of what's right in front of us, Bad Boyfriend is the epitome sound of our modern day lives. Indulge in its self-loathing ambiance above.
‘Bad Boyfriend’ will be released June 8th via Fiction. To coincide with the new single, Spector play their third London show of the year on June 11th at the Dome. Fans can purchase tickets through a pre-sale starting 9am Wednesday April 15th, at Spector.co.uk. Tickets on general sale Friday 17th April from 9am priced at £12.
Spector Are: Fred Macpherson (vocals), Jed Cullen (guitar), Danny Blandy (keyboards), Tom Shickle (bass).
