The Japanese House - Sister
Showcasing her fine diversity in such a profound way, The Japanese House returns with another stunning effort in the form of Sister, the final track to be lifted from her forthcoming debut EP. Following on from Teeth, shared at the start of this month, Ambaer Bain's unique approach to songwriting has been such a breathtaking journey to experience. Producing probably the freshest alt-pop music I've heard in recent months, The Japanese House's emotively tainted compositions have been nothing but a roller coaster ride from start to finish, and here looks to be no different. Luscious in atmospheric quality, opening with an arresting a capella, Sister is of course another rich heart string-tugging masterpiece. Introducing its electronics and percussion amongst the soft flutter of a guitar only intensifies her enthralling dynamic minimalism, something I have no qualms in saying will take her far. Check it out below for yourselves.
Sister is taken from The Japanese House's debut EP, ‘Pools To Bathe In’ due for release on 27th April through Dirty Hit.
