It was only a matter of time before someone picked up on Favela. Since first drifting on to my radar back in December '14 his continual efforts have seen his popularity rise far beyond belief as each release springboards to greater feats - his single 'Gong' clocking up in excess of 2,000,000 plays no less. Now with University almost all but finished, the 22 year old Leeds based artist returns with another stunning release having signed to Transgressive Records imprint paradYse. Channelling his unique disconsolate vocal talents, Future Visions encapsulates everything we've grown to love about Favela thus far, yet shows a distinct advancement in production values with plenty more intrinsic layering patterns. Submerged in emotion and warmful space, this truly is an insightful introduction to what lays ahead from the young artist, someone I can't wait to hear more from.
