Taking on the world of pop can be a pretty mammoth task, yet when you have the innate skills Keyes would seem to possess, opportunities present themselves fairly well. Hers for the taking, the 18 year old Warwickshire based artist expels a heavenly essence in her music, not too dissimilar from blog favourites Verite and BROODS, yet in her own distinct way begins to carve out her forgoing pathway elegantly demonstrated in Veins. With heavy hitting vocals and a unique vocal delivery culminating in to a shimmering synth-infused finale, as far as debut offerings go, this is a strong contender for being one of my favourites.
