Oslo Parks - Fiction

Bursting on to the scene last year with two successive singles seeing them draw a likeliness to Metronomy's Joseph Mount, Brighton's Oslo Parks finally break their lengthy silence with news of their much awaited new double-A Side release. Whilst not much was known about the elusive project back then, it's come to light that multi-instrumentalists Rob Flynn and Ian Booth both make up the scintillating sounds we hear, and as their immediate return would suggest, they definitely ain't slowing the pace. Readily stepping things up a gear, Fiction sees an explosive backdrop of glimmering guitars and pulsating synth-work set alight the pair's distinct pop sensibilities, all before it comes to a head in its swirling finale. Shaking any early comparisons, Oslo Parks are here to create a mark of their very own with such nonconformity through their unique stylistics and Fiction most certainly achieves this. Jump right in to it below.

Fiction / Dress For That will be released June 8th through X Novo Records.

Live Dates
15th May – Alt Escape (Great Escape) – Brighton
9th June – The Waiting Room – London
