Prides - Rome
I've said it for years now, Monday's really aren't all that bad. Fresh from the weekend, the sun's out, and the icing on the proverbial cake, Prides return with a brand new single. Having blown up at the end of last year with the release of their hugely acclaimed debut album 'The Way Back Up', the Scottish-based duo decided to take some time out of the limelight to work on new material and Rome is the first of which to surface. "Rome is a little darker, a little louder, and really came from our aching desire to experiment with the quarter-note-triplet beat of Tears for Fears or Simple Minds." explains the band. "Lyrically it's a plea. To stay, to try, to forgive, to work towards something bigger and better. It was a joy to be writing again, it's been too long". Take a listen for yourselves below. It looks to be an exciting year ahead.
