Blaenavon - Let’s Pray

I still vividly remember my school trips to Blaenavon as a kid. It's a place that pretty much sums up the bleakness of Wales down to a stereotypical T. Fields of sheep. Rock strewn mountains. Coal pits and mining museums. It's about as exciting as it got. Having not visited in years it was a pleasant reminiscent trip back down memory lane when I came across the name being used by the then relatively unheard of Hampshire based trio through discovering their single Prague back in 2013. Fast forward a few years and as their popularity continues to grow so does the blossoming maturity nestled within their music. With their long awaited debut album on the horizon, and following on from our first tastes through I Will Be The World, Blaenavon return with the buoyant Let's Pray - a kaleidoscopic jam filled with a matrix of shifting guitar melodies and floated vocal harmonies. It's hard to believe a song could sound so giddily romantic with lines like "Let's pray for death". Take a listen for yourselves below.
