Paul Thomas Saunders - I'll Come Running

Returning with his new single, I'll Come Running, Paul Thomas Saunders shares his first attempt at a love song, albeit presenting in equal measure a track so achingly beautiful, yet equally enriched with desolation. Renown for euphoric, elongated pop, Saunders knows a thing or two about crafting a meandering masterpiece and here serves no different as the track chimes away towards its epic finale. "I'll Come Running is the first real love song I've written. I grew up hating most love songs, they were fickle and false, strung together by tired clichés. They were saccharine, everything that love isn't." explains PTS. "For me love is a desperate, it's actual magic in a fucking brutal world. Insanity inducing, soul crushing, utterly empowering but at the same time completely debilitating. Anything but saccharine. So this track is a love song that rings true to me. It's vulnerable, afraid and fuelled by the greatest gift bestowed on songwriters - the insecurity of men". Take a listen for yourselves below.
