Try these for size....
Lo-Fi Culture Scene
The first band I heard quite a while ago and completely forgot about them. After recently seeing them support Bombay Bicycle Club on their tour it reminded me how great they are going to be. I am not one to focus on age but being only 15/16 they have so much to learn (In a good way). If they are this good now just think in a few years time.
Their most recent single can be found below, Racking up countless plays by Zane Lowe and Huw Setephens.
Flashguns
Secondly we have Flash Guns. Another amazing band set to flourish this year. Currently recording their debut album which I am highly anticipating. Make sure you head on over to their myspace for blogs on the making of the album and some other stuff MYSPACE
Two tracks taken from their debut EP "Matching Hearts, Similar Parts" - 'I don't not love you' & 'Bells at Midnight'.
Head on over to their youtube page now to hear plenty of acoustic versions and live tracks.
YOUTUBE
If you get the chance to see either of these two bands live don't miss out. Their both one of these bands that sound even better live than on record. Well worth checking out!
