The Consulate General - What Time Is It Now

The Consulate General - What Time Is It Now

What hit me most when I first heard Alexander Chen's music was how unbelievably smooth it sounds. Some of the best melodies I have heard in a very long time.
It was upon relocation to Gothenburg, Sweden, Alex penned 'What Time Is It Now' collaborating with Antoine Bedard (Montag) along with the rest of his debut album 'Person Number' with the aid of multi-instrumentalists John Chao (of Misha) and Ryan Fritch (of Sole & The Skyrider Band). Dressing the 1940's crooner melodies on "17th street" with modern ambient electronics is Simon Scott of Slowdive to complete the final collab.
