Jake Hart is one of the exact reasons why I started this music blog just shy of 2 years ago. Without it I'd have never discovered half the music I have to this day. And it's a shame really because with music now so accessible, much is never heard. Thankfully though, I have this site and as a result I'm introduced to an amazing array of talent which I am able to share with the world. What We Are Now is the refreshingly bright single from London Soloist Jake Hart. Think Jack Steadman of Bombay Bicycle Club meets Foals. His unique take on various influences come together to create his own blend of highbrow indie pop. The constant progressions throughout make for an energetic track.
