I seem to be having a right old Australian day here on the blog today (see previous post). But when the country's exports are this good, who's to complain. This time we have Sydney's psychedelic alt-rockers Deep Sea Arcade. In support of their UK and European tour dates the band are set to release the new single 'Granite City' on 3rd June 2013 via New Music Club. With jangly guitars and a laidback summer vibe the track comes as the perfect accompaniment to the delightful weather the UK's been basking in over the past few days. The Aussie five piece seem to be happily carving out their own unique path with jagged basslines laid beneath softly sung vocals and when it works this good there's no denying their excellence.
