Washington DC band Teen Mom return with their delightful new single Kitchen, the first since releasing their 'Mean Tom' EP last November. Now, normally when songs branch in to the 6 minute territory I find a fine line between exciting and boring. Innovating and stale. Fresh and regurgitation. Thankfully Teen Mom seem to have all things dialled. Through their slow burning guitars that crackle and resonate with all their angst-ridden emotion Kitchen soon evolves in to a funk driven summer pop anthem. Confidently surfing a complete genre spectrum this latest single is proving to be a powerful return for the promising DC 3 piece. I can't wait to hear more. Check it out above.
