Mt. Wolf | Midnight Shallows (Official Music Video)
With a nod to Eadweard Muybridge and his early work on motion photography Mt. Wolf enlist the help of Jean-Philippe Blunt and Thom Humpheys to create one of the most fantastic videos I have seen this year. Diligently applying a 'step and print' technique the pair have managed to formulate a beautifully constructed film without the need of computer graphics. Everything you seen has been created in-camera. The first sequence alone adds up to 1,498 shots, which is more cuts than some feature films have to put it in to perspective. Check out the masterpiece above.
The new single Midnight Shallows will be released through Third Rock Recordings on 4 November. To celebrate its release Mt. Wolf will head out on a short UK headline tour in November culminating with a headline show at London's prestigious Heaven. Tickets can be bought here.
