Baby Pink | Cellar Door

It's band's like Birmingham's Baby Pink that remind me of the very reasons why I spend 3/4 of my life searching for the hidden gems. A pretty abysmal day on the new music front finally pays dividends when I unearthed what could possibly be my favourite discovery yet as the four-piece return with a riff haven of aspirant guitars and disconsolate vocals. Oozing with a DIY garage-esque sound Cellar Door forms a soulful, percussive drive backed with grooving basslines and plenty of shoegazing melodies. With only a handful of demo's to their name who knows where the limits are for these new kids on the block as they look to follow in the footsteps of fellow game changers Swim Deep, Palma Violets, and Splashh. Can't wait to hear more.
