The Night VI | Sienna

"You remember my face when I heard I had a replacement". Music has always been a fitting outlet for people to air their grievances and break-up woes in true despairing detail. And why not. When it's not always possible to talk your issues out face to face keeping them bottled up is not a healthy position for anyone to be in, yet it does take a certain degree of eloquent articulation to come across with no cheesy overtones, something thankfully The Night VI manage to do with gorgeous styling. Their latest single Sienna is a wonderful example as soulful swells of sentimental yearning gets documented through the bands silky smooth melodies and gracefully expansive vocals. "It got us thinking about the special hurt when you're the one that's been left behind. Lyrically the song became a patchwork of past relationships that hadn't grown into what we were once so sure they would become" explains lead singer Sophie-Rose.

Sienna will be released April 28th but can be downloaded from iTunes digitally here now.
