Evey time an artist of Lykee Li's calibre returns with new music I always imagine a mass frenzied race as the blog world explodes in to a panic, all trying to be the first to get their news piece online. I'm sure the case is no different here too as the Swedish songstress returns with quite possibly my favourite track thus far off her forthcoming new album 'I Never Learn'. A striking, thunderous ballad, Gunshot serves to be her most powerful yet as Li's ablution of pain and torment of a relationship breakdown is expelled in true sublimity.
