Thumpers | Tame
Everyday's the same. I promise myself I'm going to limit the amount of free time I spend at the computer writing blog posts and just as I'm about to leave another musical gem pops on to my radar. There's no wonder really why I have such crippling neck and shoulder pain from all my bad posture but how can I pass up on such great music! Now for anyone who doesn't know already I'm a pretty big fan of Thumpers so I'm sure one more post won't harm before my expert endorsed computer break is due as we jump for joy over news of a double a-side single. Set for release on the same day as their debut album in the UK (May 19th 2014 via True Say Recordings) the avant-gard Pop duo prepare Unkinder (A Tougher Love) and new one Tame, a spellbinding experimental jam packed full of modulating basslines and convulsing synth pattern melodies. Take a listen above. And please feel free to share any yoga/massage routines below. First one to cure my aches and pains wins a prize (disclaimer; there is no prize, soz).
