Breaking on to my radar at the start of '14, Brooklyn based brother-sister duo Paperwhite turned more than just heads with their bouncy synth-pop debut, Got Me Goin. Now the pair return with their second offering which looks to follow in a similar vein as Katie & Ben Marshall pack in a glazed 4 minutes of translucently blended lustrous synths and percussion. With Katie's angelic vocals leading the way upfront the track's rhythmic shifts offer a mellow backdrop to kick back with through its self-assured sun-kissed vibe. Speaking of the single Katie adds "Magic is one of those songs that came right out of us with no hesitation. With it comes so much light, color and radiance. Whether that feeling comes from yourself, your surroundings or the one you love, what it can bring into your life is what is so powerful.
