When keeping on top of the blog gets real tiresome, it's tracks like this that remind me of the very reasons why I sift through on times upwards of 200+ emails. Because that feeling, that finding a needle in a haystack feeling makes everything worthwhile. Such is the case with Flagship as they return with their latest single Life Underwater. Following on from Waste Them All the band unleash an airy drive of aspiration through swirling guitars accumulating in the most wonderful of ways. Lifting you to vertigo inducing heights the North Carolina five-piece carve their way through its skippy percussion and angsty choruses before departing on a razor sharp breakdown packed full of vivacious high strung melodies.
