To coincide with the release of his new ‘Alternate Worlds’ EP on vinyl this week, Son Lux has revealed a jittering and dark visual accompaniment to Build a Pyre (Begin Again) taken from its release. Speaking of the new video, director Geoff Hoskinson stated “The main idea for the video was to visualise fire as an element of power and change. I wanted to symbolise the shared nature of human and flame: the ability for ruin and rebirth. The song lyrics were the major inspiration for the concept while the feeling and tone of the music drove the visual aesthetic". Captured in perfect detail the sepia-toned clip revels in the track's chaotic arpeggiated synths as Ryan Lott's mournful vocals provides its bittersweet edge. Take a watch above.
