Having played 2010's 'Swim' to an almost death hearing news about Caribou's return has pretty much made my whole year. And when it's this good, you'll probably understand why. Almost 4 years in the making, Dan Snaith's sixth studio album looks set to break even more ground as we get the first taste of what's to come through a symbolic splashing of colourful synth work. Super chilled with slow reverberated claps setting its scene, the track's use of airy melodies comes underpinned by the repeated heartfelt vocal sample "Can't do without you" before building in to one of the most gorgeous crescendos I've ever heard. Right now I'm not sure whether dance around the room in glee or get all emo and cry. *Dances & cries*.
Can't Do Without You is taken from Caribou's sixth studio album 'Our Love' set to feature collaborations with Owen Pallett and Jessy Lanza which will be released on City Slang Oct 6th in the UK.
