Not ones shy of a 'Zane Lowe's Hottest Record In The World' title, Catfish And The Bottlemen return with their latest single Cocoon which premiered on his show last night. Taken from their forthcoming album 'The Balcony', set for release 15th September 2014 through Island Records, the new single picks up where Fallout left off with plenty more jubilus guitar lines and glazed vocals elegantly skimming over the tracks buoyant aesthetic. With a huge run of festival shows this summer and a winter tour that's already sold out it's safe to say things are already hotting up for the Walian four-piece as they step things up a gear once more. "I was living in this apartment block, and I used to go up to the rooftop for a smoke and look over the skyline which was beautiful every night,’ says McCann; I was away from home and missing the love of my life, and I just wanted to write a song about being together and fucking everybody off. So ‘Cocoon’ is about being madly in love with someone, your best friend or whoever, and people try to get inside that and fuck shit up for you."
