As Mansions On The Moon prepare the release of their long awaited debut LP, the LA quartet return with their most energetic effort yet, The Truth. Having already worked with the likes of N*E*R*D and Mac Miller, not to mention a tour with Wiz Khalifa and Cherub the band have far from shied away from a little hard work. With each release opening new doors of enlightenment, the new single brings further demonstration of their ever expanding skills, its euphoric swells of synth-heavy extravagance raining down over the track's rolling melodies and percussion. Racing by at lightening speed it doesn't take long to become fully engrossed by their bubbling sounds as skippy guitars slip and slide over its uplifting infectious as hell choruses. Pop perfection achieved at its finest.
Speaking of the single the band commented: ”The Truth” was written for our friends and family who have supported us along the way. The chorus is in reference to telling them about the exciting opportunities that are often presented but rarely seem to pan out as planned. Sometimes, sure things turn out to be empty promises but our friends are always there to refill us with hope.”
The Truth is taken from the band's forthcoming debut self-titled album due out October 22nd.
