With Years & Years skyrocketing to success in recent months, the band have quickly seen their sound transform in to its huge dance-floor ready state that we hear today, frontman Olly Alexander even lending his vocal talents to The Magician's 'Sunlight' earlier this year. Sometimes though, it's nice to take a breather. I say this in loose terms (obviously) as the band's latest effort is anything but. Unequivocally honest, Memo showcases Years & Years in their most venerable state yet as its gripping vocals offer a poignant insight in to their more self-reflecting side. A stark contrast to its a-side Desire, the track's haunting sombre approach showcases the London trio's diverse talents in fine style with slinky synths and twinkling melodies decorating its slow burning backdrop to gorgeous effect.

'Desire' will be released on November 23rd through Polydor Records
