As far as debut's go, Glasgow's KLOË makes a pretty damn impressive first step in to the musical world with Grip. Produced by Lewis Gardiner from fellow Scottish group Prides (who've already had quite the year themselves), the honest and torturing vocals form a parallel backdrop to its grinding basslines and expansive percussive work. I always hate to drop age in to things but at just 18 the young artist crafts a sound many years ahead of herself as we're thrown head first in to its unforgiving repined nature. Indulge yourselves above. I'm sure there'll be plenty more to come from KLOË in the new year with the promise of an EP on its way and her first live show set to take place in Glasgow on the 28th Feb.
