It's funny how a very sluggish day can so quickly be turned on its head. Hull based Coaves are already making quite the name for themselves in their hometown, and with music this bold, there's no wonder why as they look set to broaden their horizons. Returning with their latest single Waves, the band showcase a fine blend of energising guitar led melodies built in to a distinct sprightly charm. Set to a backdrop of scintillating guitar work, the Yorkshire based quartet's vibrant efforts do more than enough to raise my spirits as swirling vocals and driving percussion accumulate in to a dazzling finish.
