Liu Bei | Fields ft. Rachel Goswell (Slowdive)

As Liu Bei prepare the release of their forthcoming debut EP 'Goodness', the London based quintet return with an absorbing new video for their latest single Fields. Continually showcasing a divine and incredibly rich array of instrumentation, this latest effort acts no differently as its sobering realism is brought to life in the most wonderful of ways. Through a slow-burning synth led backdrop scattered with the odd thunderous percussive hit, it's the kind of track that brings you from the shadows in to the light of day. For the train journey comedowns. The eerily silent streets pre-rush hour mayhem. This track's here for you. With Richard Walters' softly sung vocals rushing to fill any space left by its warming string section and atmospheric ambiance, its comforting cries bring a resemblance many of us know all to well whilst trying to escape our small town lives. Indulge yourself above.

The 'Goodness' EP will be released Feb 2nd 2015 through newly founded Museumgoer Records. The band will hit the road in February to coincicde with a number of dates to follow its release, full details listed below.
