When Ben Khan dropped his '1992' EP back in May last year it became pretty much the definitive sound to my summer. Ever since his debut emergence Khan has continued to impress with an incomprehensibly broad range of funky left-field soul-pop compositions. And with Annie Mac's Hottest Record In The World premiere this evening, the 22-year old shows no signs of slowing down as we get the first taste of his forthcoming new EP with title track 1000. A gorgeously resplendent offering brimming with the kind of futuristic bubbling beats we've become accustomed to, 1000 demonstrates a dazzling display of euphoric personified pop at its very finest.
