It's been just over a year since I last wrote about Leeds-based quartet Marsicans and their single Chivalry. A lot's been going on since then for the four-piece, least to mention their incredibly tightened sound. Still present is their band's youthful vigour but as they start to begin to find their feet they bring a defining maturity to their recordings. Inspired by the recent sad loss of James' grandparents in a two-week period, Gone In A Second shines a wonderfully positive outlook on the tragic situation, reminding us all to appreciate the finer moments in life, living it to the fullest.
