WARHOLA - Unravel
With a unique instrumentation line-up featuring two percussionists, a range of synthetic electronic glitches and some pretty soulful vocal work, five-piece WARHOLA make for an impressive first listen. Based out of Belgium, the quintet's unique use of darkly tinged RnB vibes seem to echo throughout their music, evidently displayed in Unravel. That's not to say they're at all defined by any particular genre though. This is probably the most free-forming sound I've heard in recent times and with its skittering percussion and swoonful synth work, looks set to pave the way to many great things. Take a listen above for yourselves.
