Seafret - Drown (Bring Me The Horizon Cover)

Whilst I normally avoid covers like the snotty kid at school, I couldn't pass up an opportunity to give this one a spin. Renown for the indigenous beauty they create in their swelling compositions, it should have been no surprise this was going to anything but mesmeric I weren't wrong. Unable to comment on the original (I'm not the biggest Bring Me The Horizon fan), Bridlington-based duo Seafret inject a fiery warmth in to the track as their lofty vocals and soaring guitars engulf from the offset. Take a listen above for yourselves. The pair will be performing as part of Communion's New Faces tour this Autumn with the likes of Flyte, Dan Owen and Jack Watts - you can see the full list of dates below. With every advance ticket purchased from Communion’s site or Songkick fans will receive a free EP with a track from the bands involved. More info can be found here.
