Pixel Fix - I Want You The Same

Whilst it may have been over a year since I last featured Oxfordshire based trio Pixel Fix, it's not to say they've not been hard at work. Returning with their brand new single it would appear they've impressively stepped things up as their maturing sound raises the bar to dizzying heights. With its swells of electronic percussion and perfectly poised vocals, I Want You The Same serves to be a welcoming chapter for the three-piece as their submersing twinkling key-notes and signature uplifting rhythms shine a whole new light on their enigmatic production skills. "'I Want You The Same' has been with us for a while, and has taken many different forms over time" explains the band. "It started out as more of a minimal electronic vibe, But when Clem wrote the main guitar line, the song really just went from there. The meaning of the song lyrically is kind of self explanatory in the name. It’s a song about someone changing into a different person, into someone they’re not and not wanting that to happen". Take a listen below for yourselves.

Pixel Fix play a headline show at The Waiting Room, in London, Stoke Newington on December 7th. Free e-tickets are available here: Tickets.lnk.to/PixelFixTWR
