Mt. Wolf - Hex
Track's like this should really come with a warming. Although I should be well aware of the afflicting emotions they've become so accustomed to evoking, from its unassuming celestial intro nothing can really prepare for what lays ahead on Mt. Wolf's very welcomed return. Following on from their 'Red' EP released earlier this year the band have unveiled quite possibly their most heart-wrenching piece to date, filled with hair-raising spacial rises and thunderous percussion. With Sebastian Fox's almost operatic vocals guiding the way through its emotive string sections, the track quickly gathers pace throwing you head first in to its cathartic finale, all before bowing out once more with a simplistically plucked guitar. Most certainly not for the faint hearted. Take a listen below for yourselves.
'Hex' is the first track to be taken from their as yet untitled forthcoming EP.
