Whilst festivals become plagued of repeats and copy-cat line ups, if you dig beneath the surface you'll find a real gem. Something like Green Man. If its breathtaking scenery and landscapes aren't enough to whet your appetites, then it's mouth watering line-up of music, comedy and spoken word/poetry will be more than plenty. A perfect antidote to your January blues then, Green Man finally breaks its silence with news of their first announced acts for their 14th year in 2016.

Festival director, Fiona Stewart said: "The summer is nearer than you think, please join us at Green Man this August. This is only the first announcement of many incredible artists, with many more to follow including one more headliner -  We also have loads to announce amongst the arts, comedy, science,, food, beer and family entertainment, as well as the adventures and surprises we like to keep up our sleeve which are so much part of Green Man".
