Truth said, I've been neglecting these pages a hell of a lot in recent months. It's not that I don't enjoy writing about music, it's just the 100's of emails received daily starts to become a monotonous task, especially when the ratio of songs I dislike to songs I like averagely frequents something on the lines of 200:1. Then, as if out of nowhere comes a an artist, or two in this case, to make it all worthwhile. Enlisting the vocal talents of Norwegian based popstar Aurora, the Bristol pair more formerly known as Icarus return with their emotively-hinged new single Home. Painstakingly pieced together through whirring melodies, arpeggiated synth notes and imaginative percussive layers, brothers Ian and Tom Griffiths deliver a track that sears with warmth as you float amongst its ghost-like charm - a perfect soundtrack to the blinding sunlight that breaks from the late night before as you make your way home in the early hours.
