John Joseph Brill - False Names
If you're going to have Brill in your name you'd best hope your music lives up to it. There's definitely no fear of mistaking that here as John Joseph Brill returns with his latest single False Names. Channelling the pinpoint accuracy and low vocal tone much akin to Matt Berninger, the Liverpool-via-London based artist puts his years of poetry craftmasnship and songwriting to intense use as this soaring effort glides in to motion. "It's a song about a best mate, a tremendous, beautiful, flawed best mate who I wouldn't change for the world..." explains Brill on its conception. Take a listen for yourselves below. False Names is released digitally on 18th March 2016 through Killing Moon.
