The Hubbards - Cold Cut

It's hard to believe it's been almost 4 years since I first wrote about The Hubbards. Having gone on to feature pretty much everything they've released to date since, it's no mean feat to say they've constantly been adapting their abilities as they stride ever closer to perfection. Returning with their latest single, Cold Cut marks a definitive turning point for the group as their ever maturing sounds reach new levels of enlightenment sharing their tightest track to date. My favourite of theirs yet, its effervescent basslines and swelling guitars cut through a stunning ambiance as they move ever so slightly away from the ferocious guitar onslaught we're used to, to a more well-rounded bubbling masterpiece. Listen for yourselves below. The title track from their debut EP, “Cold Cut”, will be released Fri 4th March.
