I'd be lying if I said I hadn't become the most fussiest listener ever in recent months. The more music I'm sent the less seems to hit the right notes (terrible pun excused), more so than ever with electronic-pop with such an abundance. Step up to the plate Harper though and her new single Blood Sweat & Tears. Silk-smooth with its broody basslines and stunning vocal textures make this than instant hit for me. Finding inspiration from a darkened place following a lost love, the promising 24-year old artist impresses with her fine attention to detail, gearing up nicely for her forthcoming EP.
