Finally. Some new music I can actually shout about. Having gone so long without discovering anything worthy of posting, the deadlock eventually broke this evening in the best possible ways. I think I first stumbled across Brooklyn-based Black Marble's disconsolate indie pop nuances from a chance encounter through downloading my inaugural monthly BIRP playlist a good few years ago. Then a band, now just the solo project of Chris Stewart, it seems the project breathes life once more as he returns sharing new single Iron Lung. Take a listen to the track's scintillating synths and jazzy basslines for yourselves below. With a new album on the horizon 2016 looks like it might just be alright after all.
