Talos - Odyssey

If you're anything like me, then you'll be a sucker for emotive songwriting, no matter what day of the week it falls on. At least it'll help if you are as Talos is on hand to provide a disconsolate alternative to your Friday night plans with his new single Odyssey. Following on from his recent single Reborn, the Irish born artist continues to pave the way with his unique ethereal productions so earthly and wholesome. Here's no different as the track's spacious intro gives way to a soaring finale filled with falsetto vocals and glittering synth notes. "In any endeavour we find ourselves at that point of doubt" explains Talos. "Those moments where you question yourself. That’s what the line, ‘In this odyssey, it’s hard to leave…’ refers to. It’s a beautiful and testing cycle. “I was asking myself some pretty big questions. Am I doing the right thing? Is this worth it? Am I deluding myself?! And I think in the end, the answer is yes to all three. These feelings come and go. The thoughts pass. Sometimes the delusions get realised. And we move on". Take a listen for yourselves below.

Odyssey is taken from Talos' long awaited debut album ‘Wild Alee’, due out on April 21.
