In a similar vein to James Blake, South London-based Northern Irish artist D.A.N makes excelling use of space, blending with it electronic elements and forward thinking production to dramatic effect. Here he returns with his latest single 0300 (Human), a track that tackles the isolated issues you'd face when dealing with a bout of insomnia and all the mind fuzziness that goes with it. Presented in exhilarating fashion, the track's vulnerabilities get laid bare through a soothing piano intro before rapidly dissipating as its power-house pop sensibilities take charge.
